Stuff We Do

Kids

Our goal is to make 'church' the best hour in every child's week. With the help of our committed volunteers, this children's ministry provides a safe environment where children can enjoy great learning and loving relationships from infancy through age eleven.
We believe that learning should be fun, so we create an environment of fun and educational activities. This results in lessons that are age appropriate, interactive and relevant to today's children. Currently we have 5 separate children programs running on Sunday mornings.
You and your children are invited to visit our programs during any service, where you will experience our commitment to working with every family in laying a spiritual foundation that children can build their lives on.
Have a question about our kid’s program? Contact our kid’s pastor, Jill Bingle at jill@kawarthachurch.com and ask away!

Small Groups

At Kawartha Community Church we strongly believe that being part of a small group is a vital part of a well-balanced spiritual diet.
In the days of the early Church most of the meetings happened in homes (Acts 2:46; Romans 16:5; 1 Corinthians 16:19; Colossians4:15), so being a part of a small group is not something we do in addition to church - it is Church in its purest form.
It is through small groups that each person can give and receive the best nurture and care and use their God-given gifts to the fullest. In small groups we can find opportunities to love each other in practical ways. Through small groups we can help each other to live out our faith with passion and we can challenge each other to grow deeper in our relationship with God.
We encourage you to join a small group of your choice, even if you can’t be there every week. When you do, you’ll become part of a small community of friends who can help you grow to your fullest potential.

Windows

At KCC we say, “Never get on a boat until you know where it’s going!” Windows is a quarterly opportunity for anyone new at KCC to meet our leadership, connect with some other people at KCC, and find out where we as a faith community are headed.

Alpha

Alpha is a yearly 11-week course for people investigating the Christian faith. It offers practical topics about life, faith and how to connect with God.

Network

Everybody fits somewhere! Network is a take-home questionnaire that enables you to “find your fit” in your church and your world. It covers how we have been designed and our uniqueness in relation to other people.

Youth

We plan monthly and bi-monthly events to get our teens together to laugh and learn together. Interested in finding out about our next Youth function? E-mail us and we will be happy to include you: youth@kawarthachurch.com
