We can’t help you with your breakfast, but we are convinced that we can offer you an alternative and exciting approach
to church.

Did you ever think attending church could be enjoyable, even the highlight of your week? We do! We have a dream of creating a church where messages are related to daily life, where there isn’t an emphasis on getting your money and you can find new friends and quality children’s programs. Imagine a church where you could ask questions and have discussion right in the service!
TWO PROMISES
1) WE PROMISE NOT TO BORE YOU. Our dream is to grow a church that is exciting, fun and dynamic in every way.
We think a relationship with God is something to be celebrated, not a reason to act religious. Do the words “dull, dreary, dry... ” come to mind when you think of the word “church”? We understand and that’s why we promise to do our best to boycott boredom in each meeting of Kawartha Community Church.
2) WE PROMISE TO GIVE YOU AN OPPORTUNITY TO CONNECT WITH OTHERS. Whether at some point in the service,
before or after, each Sunday you’ll have a chance to connect with others for community. We believe a church is a community, not an organization. It’s a place where the hurting can be encouraged, and where friends can meet.
THIS IS OUR DREAM
This church exists only minutes away. On February 25th, 2001 we kicked off with our first series called “Daring to Dream Again”. The Church has already grown into an exciting place full of people who are passionate about a church for real people in the real world. Come and experience what relevant church can mean to you!
BE OUR GUEST
As the pastor of Kawartha Community Church, I’m excited about being part of a church that is dedicated to being as real as we are relevant and as truthful as we are loving. I also believe our church can become for you a place where your questions receive honest answers and your needs are met with genuine concern. Please know, if you’re currently involved in a church that is meeting your spiritual needs, we’re excited for you and don’t want to draw you away from that. But for some people, going to church is associated with archaic ceremonies, outdated language, boring music, and irrelevant sermons. If that sounds like you I’d like to invite you to consider joining an “irreligious” approach to spirituality through the Christian faith at Kawartha Community Church.
